Oversight campaign targets medical facilities, pharmacies in capital Sanaa

SANAA, March 29 (YPA) – Director of the Health and Population Office in the capital Sanaa Dr. Mutahar al-Marwani said that 15 medical control committees implemented on Sunday field visits to governmental and private medical facilities and pharmacies in districts of the capital.

The campaign targets five government hospitals, 75 private hospitals, 500 private health centers, 75 government health centers, and 1,700 pharmacies, Dr. al-Marwani explained.

He indicated that the campaign aims to make sure the readiness of government and private hospitals to confront Corona epidemic, and also to ensure the extent of pharmacies’ commitment to prices of medicines and medical supplies.
