Five Saudi-led airstrikes hit Marib

MARIB, March 9 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Monday launched five airstrikes on Marib province, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the airstrikes were waged on Majzar district.

On Sunday, the coalition fighter jets launched a series of raids on several districts in the same province.

The official confirmed that three airstrikes hit a school in the ancient area of Baraqish in Majzar district, destroying the school completely.

He added that four airstrikes waged on Sirwah and Majzar districts of Marib, causing damage to citizens’ property.
