Idlib raids expose relationship between Turkey, terrorists: Moscow

MOSCOW, Feb. 28 (YPA) – The Russian Ministry of Defense on Friday revealed that the Syrian bombing in Idlib was directed against terrorist militants, and it later turned out that their ranks included Turkish soldiers.

The ministry said, in a statement, that the Turkish side did not provide Moscow with information about a military presence in Idlib.

According to information received by the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, there were no unites there, and it was not assumed that any Turkish units exist in the bombing area, the ministry added.

Earlier in the day, Russian war fighters launched air raids, targeting the militants’ sites in Idlib province in Syria, in which 33 Turkish soldiers were killed and 32 others were wounded.
