Top commander killed in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 26 (YPA) – A prominent commander of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) was killed Wednesday in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the Saudi-backed Islah militants opened fire towards a deputy commander of the STC militias, Al-Haqi Al-Kazmi Al-Makny, in Directorate in Ahwar district.

Earlier, the sources said that the STC sent military reinforcement to the same district to confront the Islah militants.
