Israeli forces launch series of raids on positions in Gaza Strip

SANAA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – Israeli occupation planes launched raids on sites belonging to the Islamic resistance at dawn on Sunday on the southern Gaza Strip, Palestine media reported.

According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli occupation air force raided a target near the port of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes also shelled the resistance’s Tal position in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation media reported that Israeli warplanes had begun raids on the Gaza Strip.

Regarding the raids on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army spokesman said: “The aircraft raided Hamas targets in the southern Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip and booby-trapped balloons.”
