Al-Ezzi: Sanaa’s latest position is firm protest, not military escalation

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Former Sanaa Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi said Sanaas latest position does not constitute a military escalation, but rather a firm protest against the continued, excessive and prolonged blockade imposed on the country.

In a post on X, Al-Ezzi said Riyadh’s position does not reflect weakness, fear or restraint, but rather amounts to a silent protest against malicious parties that continue to obstruct Riyadh and prevent it from sharing Sanaa’s commitment to pursuing clear political solutions.

He added that the effective solution lies in the neighboring country overcoming the wishes of its false friends, whom he accused of seeking to exploit Saudi Arabia, advance their own agendas and continue pursuing their interests at the expense of the region and its stability.
