LAHJ, April 29 (YPA) – A member of al-Qaeda was killed on Sunday by fire of unidentified gunmen in Lahj province, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.
The member of al-Qaeda, Al-Saini, was shot in fayush area by the gunmen who fled, the official added.
Security official said that Al-Saini was linked to Al Qaeda, and was considered as one of the wanted security in the assassination of a number of the security belt forces loyal to the UAE like, Abu Abla and al-Harbi.
Other sources speculated that the assassination of al-Saini may have been caused by his liquidation by al-Qaeda.
The sources added that the security services carried out a search for the killers but did not find them.
The body of al-saini was taken to the refrigerator of Ibn Khaldun hospital in the province.
The southern provinces are witnessing security chaos due to the conflict between the various militias financed by the UAE , elements of the Muslim Brotherhood supported by Riyadh and the so-called legitimate government detained in Riyadh.
