7 people killed, wounded by gunfire in American city of Seattle

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – American police announced on Thursday that civilians were killed and wounded in shooting in the northeastern city of Seattle, According to “Sputnik”.

“Many victims were killed, and the suspect was able to escape. The first aid was provided to the wounded,” the police said in a statement.

Seattle Police said on Twitter: “Investigators are proceeding with the investigation after six people were injured in a shooting incident and one was killed.”

A spokeswoman for the city’s Harbourview Medical Center said that seven victims had been transferred to the hospital’s emergency department. It did not immediately report their condition.
