Preparations for campaign to combat dengue and malaria in Hodeidah discussed

HODEIDAH, Jan. 19 (YPA) – A meeting held Saturday in Hodeidah province and chaired by Acting Governor Mohammed Ayyash Quhim discussed preparations to implement a campaign to combat dengue and malaria in the province’s districts.

In the meeting, Quhim called on the government local offices in the province and districts to contribute to the success of the campaign.

He stressed the necessity to unify the efforts and capabilities to start the campaign in conjunction with an awareness program for the community on the causes of the spread of dengue and malaria, their transmission methods and the prevention ways.
