UAE congratulates Jews on Hanukkah

LONDON, Dec. 24 (YPA) – The UAE embassy in London on Tuesday published in its official account on Twitter a congratulation to the Jews on the occasion of their celebration of the so-called “Hanukkah Festival” known as the “Festival of Lights”.

This came within the series of the UAE’s continual normalization with Israel through the exchanges of congratulations and expressions of praise between the two sides in an unprecedented way.

In its tweet, the UAE embassy wished happiness for the Jews, saying “our best wishes to our friends of Judaism on the occasion of the first day of Lights Festival.”

According to the website of the seventh Hebrew channel, this is the first time the UAE embassy sends a cable of such congratulations to the Jews.
