Mohammed al-Houthi stresses importance of taking Islamic stance on nation’s issues

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Member Supreme Political Council Mohammad Ali al-Houthi  on Tuesday expressed hope that the mini-Islamic summit called by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad would bring solutions to the nation’s issues and challenges.

In a statement to the Saba News Agency, he stressed the importance of holding the summit at this time to take an Islamic position on various issues such as the aggression against Yemen, the deal of the century and the world’s most vulnerable Muslims.

He expressed the hope that the Kuala Lumpur summit in December would commence a new phase of dialogue and joint Islamic action.
