Finance Minister stresses importance of developing Hodeidah’s resources for alleviating economic impacts

HODEIDAH, Dec. 11 (YPA) – Finance Minister Sharaf al-Kohlani stressed on the importance of developing Hodeidah’s resources for alleviating the economic impacts resulting from the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.

The move came during his meeting with acting of Hodeidah governor Mohammad Ayash Qohim to discuss aspects related to the level of financial and income performance in the governorate during the current year.

The minister affirmed the ministry’s keenness provide all necessary support the province to overcome difficulties and conditions experienced by the province as a result of the aggression and siege.

For his part, Qohim praised the Minister’s efforts to support development activities and investment projects for enhancing the steadfastness of residents and providing basic and necessary services needed by the province.
