Over 75 al-Qaeda fighters arrive at Abyan, Shabwah

SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Over 75 al-Qaeda foreign fighters have arrived at Yemen’s southern provinces of Abyan and Shabwah over the past two days, security sources briefed on matter on Saturday.

The sources confirmed that a number of districts of the two provinces received the fighters, who hold the nationalities of the Saudi and Somali linked with al-Qaeda and ISIS.

The source indicated that Saudi Arabia seeks to re-position through backing the terrorist organizations in Abyan and Shabwah, to assassinate its opponents in the occupied territories, south of Yemen.
