Clashes erupt between pro-coalition armed militias in Abyan
ABYAN, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Clashes broke out on Monday noon between the so-called “security belt” militias loyal to the UAE and Islah Party forces loyal to exiled Hadi in Modiya district in the occupied province of Abyan, southern Yemen.
The clashes took place after Hadi’s forces attacked a security post belonging to the security belt west of Mudiya, according to a statement issued by the security belt.
The statement said that the military belt forces backed by Ahl al-Salehi tribe managed to repel Hadi’s troops, injuring several of them and seizing four of their military cars.
