Yemeni Ambassador to Iran meets with Iraqi counterpart

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) –  Yemeni Ambassador to Iran Ibrahim Al-Dailami on Sunday met with Iraqi Ambassador in Tehran Dr. Saeed Qandil .

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

They touched on aspects related to enhancing cooperation frameworks to serve the common interests of both countries in light of developments in the region.

Ambassador Al-Dailami praised Iraq’s efforts to find a political solution to stop the aggressive war against Yemen and block the advocates of the continuation of the war.

The Yemeni ambassador called on his Iraqi counterpart to play a bigger role and push for the success of the initiative of President Mahdi Al-Mashat, noting the efforts of the Republic of Iraq to solve the crises in the region.
