LAHJ, April 25 (YPA) – Fighting has broken out between two armed groups in Lahj province, south of Yemen.
Local sources affirmed on Thursday that confrontations broke out the tribes of Al-Johar and Al-Farid the Rayshan area of Al-Hidd district, the stronghold of the leaders of the armed factions loyal to the UAE, using various types of weapons.
The sources said that the exchange of fire between the two armed groups caused material losses in the homes of citizens.
They indicated that the tribesmen are belonging to factions loyal to the UAE, amid accusations against leaders in the Southern Transitional Council of being behind the incitement of these confrontations, which caused terror and panic among women and children.
