Transitional council pushes military reinforcements toward Abyan

ABYAN, Oct. 17 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias on Thursday pushed large military reinforcements toward Abyan province.

Sources confirmed that armored vehicles and military patrols of the transitional council’s militias arrived in Zinjbar city, the capital of Abyan province.

The move came after Hadi’s government refused, on the lips of its official spokesman on Wednesday, to sign the draft Saudi-sponsored Jeddah agreement between the exiled Hadi and the transitional council during the past days, according to the sources.
