Dialogue, stopping war in Yemen is only solution to region’s stability: Iran

TEHRAN, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday stressed that the only solution to end the conflict in the region is a dialogue between the region’s countries and stopping the war in Yemen.

“The problems of the region can be solved only through political means and dialogue between neighboring countries,” said Rouhani at a press conference with the Prime Minister of Pakistan in Tehran.

On targeting of an Iranian oil tanker in the Red Sea, President Rouhani said “We are continuing investigations into the targeting of the Iranian oil tanker and we will take the appropriate position.”

“Iran and Pakistan emphasize the need to adopt political solutions to resolve the outstanding problems once and for all,” he added. “Iran will respond to any positive attitude positively.”
