Cancer patients suffer from counterfeit medicines in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 11 (YPA) – A number of cancer patients have expressed their great suffering due to the spread of counterfeit medicines in the markets in the occupied province of Aden and other southern provinces.

“Counterfeit and useless drugs are spreading in the markets of Aden and the southern provinces at prices close to the price of the original drug,” said cancer patients in a plea to news websites on Friday.

Patients confirmed that the available cancer drugs endanger their lives because most of them had spoiled due to poor storage in the drug stores, amid absence of the health ministry in Hadi’s government which does not pay any attention to the health aspect in Aden and other provinces.
