Army foils coalition mercenaries’ infiltration attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Tuesday foiled an infiltration attempt by Saudi-led coalition mercenaries to advance towards west of al-Wazieyah area in Taiz province, an army official said.

The attempted infiltration inflicted heavy losses on the mercenaries, the official added.

On Monday, a group of Sudanese soldiers, who are fighting in ranks of the coalition forces, were killed and wounded in a missile attack on their gatherings in the same area.
