Army ambushes devour coalition troops, gear in Jawf

JAWF, Oct. 8 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Tuesday suffered human and material losses in ambushes set by the Yemeni army and popular committees in Jawf province.

A military source confirmed that the army’s engineering unit detonated a coalition military vehicle loaded with soldiers in an ambush on Ham front in al-Moton district, which resulted in killing and wounding all those aboard.

The source added that a group the coalition mercenaries were killed and wounded, including a military commander, in an ambush set by the engineering unit near al-Moton compound.

On Monday, the coalition forces suffered several casualties and a military vehicle was damaged during a surprise attack launched by the army forces and popular committees in the west of al-Salan camp belonging to the coalition forces in the province.
