SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi met on Monday in Sanaa with UN Under-Secretary-General (USG) for Security and Safety Gilles Michaud and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, al-Ezzi reviewed the big humanitarian suffering experienced by the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression, economic blockade and crimes daily committed by Saudi/UAE-led coalition forces and mercenaries.
At the same time, al-Ezzi commended the humanitarian efforts made by international organizations to alleviate the suffering of the people.
He confirmed the leadership and national authorities in Sana’a are keen to present facilities and provide a safe environment for international organizations working in the humanitarian field in the country.
In this regard, al-Ezzi referred to the efforts and achievements of the security institutions in Sana’a in combating activities and presence of terrorist organizations in areas located under the control of the National Salvation Government.
For his part, the UN official expressed his thanks and gratitude for the facilities provided by the government, and his hope for further cooperation in order to serve Yemeni citizens and alleviate their suffering.
