Saudi-led coalition loses new positions, dozens of mercenaries in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition, the UAE and its militants continued suffer heavy casualties on the fronts of Hajjah, exceeding its daily human and material losses, to losing new positions previously controlled by its mercenaries.

“On Sunday, army units and popular committees carried out two raids on positions of coalition forces and their mercenaries in south and west of Haradh district in Hajjah province,” a military source said.

“A large number of Saudi-led coalition troops were killed and wounded in the raids,” the source added. The coalition suffered additional casualties.

“’ Missile and artillery forces of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi-led mercenaries west of Hjran district,” the military source told reporters Sunday night. “The shelling killed and wounded dozens of them.”

In parallel, army units and popular committees carried out three surprise attacks on coalition positions on the Hiran fronts, regaining control of several positions east of the same district.

“A large-scale offensive operation carried out the army and popular committees against mercenaries in several military positions east of the Hiran front, killing and wounding large numbers of them and incurring material losses,” a military source confirmed.

“Army units and popular committees carried out two surprise attacks on coalition positions south and west of Hiran, causing heavy loss of life and equipment,” the source added.

“On Sunday night, army and popular committees fired two Zilizal-1 missiles at The coalition mercenaries’ gatherings in Hiran, leaving them dead and wounded,” the military source concluded.
