Yemen’s army foils coalition attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Sept. 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army foiled on Sunday an attack carried out by the Saudi army and its mercenaries towards sites in Jizan border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The operation inflicted the mercenaries heavy casualties in Jahfan site.

Meanwhile, a number of the mercenaries were killed and injured when the army sniper unit in cooperation with artillery carried out a joint ambush in the same site.

Besides, several of the Saudi soldiers were killed and wounded when the army fired six missiles, Zilzal 1, at Saudi military groups in al-Dood mountain.

On Saturday, the army attacked military sites of the mercenaries in Qota al-Da’ar area, leaving large losses, the official added.
