UAE ousts “Islah party” from coalition-backed government

ADEN, Sept. 8 (YPA) – Political sources on Saturday revealed the news of a consensus reached between the coalition countries and the Southern Transitional Council funded by the United Arab Emirates, which provides for the final departure of the Islah Party (The Yemeni branch of Muslim brotherhood) and the party’s military leader Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar from the Saudi-led coalition -backed government.

The sources confirmed that the recent events caused a split between the Hadi’s government which leads the leader “al- Ahamr ” and director of the office “Hadi” Abdullah al-Alimi Isalh party team, while another team lines up with “Hadi”, which sources said that this team now does not trust any of the military and political leaders in the government.

According to the sources, Ali Mohsin al-Ahmar and Islah team thwarted the Jeddah’s dialogue, which was scheduled to take place last week, following the arrival of the STC delegation headed by Aydros Zubaidi and has met with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, and he left after Hadi’s government rejected to hold any direct dialogue with him.

There has been no official confirmation of what has come out of the dialogue, which has been going on since Wednesday.
