UAE-backed forces use force against women protesters in Mukalla city

ADEN, Mukhala, April 19 (YPA) – The detainees’ mothers on Wednesday organized and two protest vigils in the cities of Aden and Mukalla demanding the release of their sons, their husbands, and relatives who have been detained for years.

Sources confirmed that during the protests, some women involved in the protest were beaten by UAE-backed forces known as the “elite forces” who tried to disperse women protesters in the city of Mukalla.

The women reiterated their urgent demand for the disclosure of the fate of their detained relatives, who were jailed in the private prisons of the UAE-Saudi occupation forces, since three years.

UAE-Saudi occupation forces detained thousands of southern citizens in their private detention centers and subjected to physical and psychological torture and violations.
