Update: Army repels large-scale coalition’s attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Sept. 2 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Monday repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed mercenaries in Jizan border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured during repelling their attack in the east of Dood mount, added the official.

The mercenaries’ attack was supported with coalition’s warplanes and helicopters, lasted for hours and the mercenaries were inflicted heavy losses in lives and military equipment without achieving any progress on the ground.

Furthermore, the army fired artillery shells at the mercenaries during repelling their attack in Dood mount.
