Southern leader: What is happening in Shabwah is an alliance between Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda

SHABWAH, Aug. 26 (YPA) – A leader of the UAE’s Southern Transitional Council said that the events in Shabwah province revealed an alliance between the Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) in the exiled Hadi’s government and al-Qaeda.

The leader of the southern transitional council, Ahmed bamalam commented on the events taking place in the city of Ataq in Shabwah province.

“What is happening in Shabwah province revealed the alliance between the brotherhood, al-Qaeda and ISIS,” he said on Twitter on Sunday.

“This alliance is the most dangerous in the country’s history,” he added.
