Iranian army chief threatens to “cut off hand of any aggressor”

TEHRAN, Jan. 07 (YPA) – The Commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, Major General Amir Hatami, issued a strongly worded threat to both “Israel” and the United States, emphasizing the readiness of the armed forces to respond to any military action targeting the country.

Hatami affirmed that the Iranian army’s current readiness surpasses pre-war levels. He vowed to “cut off the hand of any aggressor” and deliver a response exceeding enemy expectations should any mistake be made.

He considered the escalating threats against the Iranian nation a “real threat” that will not go unpunished.

On June 13, 2025, a large-scale attack launched by the Israeli occupation army targeting dozens of vital sites, including nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and bases belonging to senior commanders, placing the region on the brink of an unprecedented escalation.
