Iran executes “Mossad agent’

TEHRAN, Jan. 07 (YPA) – Iranian authorities executed Ali Ardestani on Wednesday morning, describing him as a key operative linked to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad within the country.

The Mehr News Agency and the Judicial Media Center reported that Ardestani was convicted of “direct collaboration with the enemy” and transferring sensitive security information.

Investigations revealed details of Ardestani’s activities. He was recruited by Mossad through social media platforms. He photographed strategic locations and gathered information on specific targets inside Iran. He received payments for his services using cryptocurrencies, and held personal meetings with Mossad agents on Iranian soil.

Judicial authorities confirmed that the execution followed explicit confessions from the accused, emphasizing that thwarting his activities reflects the vigilance of Iranian intelligence agencies in countering foreign infiltration attempts.
