SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Prime Minister Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour on Sunday met with the outgoing humanitarian co-ordinator of the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP) in Yemen, Stephen Anderson.
At the meeting, Habtour praised efforts the WFP’s official in providing the humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of millions of Yemeni people as a result of the Saudi-UAE aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the ongoing closure of Sanaa International Airport and Hodeidah port by the Saudi-led coalition is one of the most violation against the Yemeni people.
Meanwhile, Anderson expressed his thanks for the National Salvation Government in cooperation and provided facilities to the WFP and other organizations working in Yemen.
