Islah party pushes military reinforcements to Turbah city, UAE-backed forces hold meeting to settle the battle in Taiz
TIAZ, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The So-called Southern Giants forces and the Abu Al-Abbas Brigades funded by the United Arab Emirates gave al-Islah militias 24 hours to remove their militants from the al-Hujaryah areas of Taiz province, informed source told Yemen Press Agency.
Military sources reported that a force from Giants brigades intervened on the line in the battle taking place in al- Hujariyah district between the Islah party militias, the forces of the 35th Armored Brigade and the Abu Al-Abbas Brigades.
The sources explained that the commander of the third brigade of Giants Forces led by Hamdi Shukri loyal to Emiratis, demanded the commander of the 4th Brigade Infantry of the Isalh Party, Salah Abu Bakr al-Jabbouli to withdraw his forces from the al-al-Hujaryah areas completely and to lift the siege on the forces of “35th Armored Brigade” and the Abu Abbas Brigades besieged in the area.
In the same context, the “Forces of Giant Brigades”, the Abu Abbas Brigades and the “35 Armored Brigade” backed by the United Arab Emirates held a meeting on Tuesday in the city of Turbah, which included the director of the security of the al-Shamayatain district and a number of sheikhs and dignitaries.
According to local sources,the meeting discussed the repercussions of the attempts made by the al-Islah militia to occupy the Police Department ofal-Shamayatain , and its attempts to control the Directorate, and to blow up the situation in the Area of Al-Hujaryah.
The sources confirmed that there are great military preparations to expel the Islah militants from the district, if they do not leave within the deadline announced by the Giants forces set by 24 hours.
In addition, sources in the “Coastal Defense Brigade” in The city of Aden revealed that the commander of Zaki Abdullah Hassan nicknamed “Abu Al-Abed” of the Islah, has brought soldiers from the “Coastal Defense Brigade” in a secret manner to mobilize them to the Turbah district southwest of Taiz province, in preparation for possible confrontations with UAE-backed forces in the district, which has recently under control of Muslim Brotherhood elements.
