Update: Six members of Islah militia killed, wounded in clashes with tribes in Marib

MARIB, Aug. 20 (YPA) – At least six members of the Islah party militias were killed and wounded on Monday as they clashed with armed tribesmen of Ubaidah in Marib province, local sources reported.

According to the sources, ten military pickups belonging to the Islahh party carried out on tribesmen before they clashed with them, as the Ruwaik tribes demanded the release of three of their members kidnapped by al-Islah militias in recent weeks in Marib and Hadhramaut provinces.

The sources said that six members of the Al-Islah militia were killed and wounded, in addition to burning one of their military pickups.

Last month, al-Islah militias launched retaliatory attacks targeting “Al A’ashraf tribes” in Marb province, killing and wounding dozens of them, as well as arresting dozens of them and destroying their homes, farms and properties.
