Clashes erupt between” Islah militias and Ubaidah tribes” in Marb

MARIB, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Deadly clashes broke out on Monday between Islah party (Muslim Brotherhood) militias and tribal gunmen in al-Ruwaik area in eastern part of Marib province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the clashes broke out following Islah militia’s attack on tribal militants, belonging to the Al-Samra tribe, which is one of the branches of the Damashaqa tribe, which belongs to the Ubaidah, after the latter demanded the release of three of its members kidnapped by Islah militias in recent weeks.

The sources added that a number of Islah military pickups attacked the tribesmen, which led to violent clashes broke out between the two sides, burning one of the military pickups and injuring several of its crew members.

Muslim Brotherhood militias have committed terrible crimes over the past few days in Taiz province, killing many innocent people after the clashed with the Abu Al-Abbas group.
