Update: Army carries out offensive in Jawf

JAWF, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Tuesday carried out an offensive against sites of coalition-backed mercenaries in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The mercenaries were inflicted heavy losses in lives and military equipment during the offensive which took place near Mojama-Moton front, said the official.

On Monday evening, the engineering of the army managed to destroy a military vehicle carrying coalition’s mercenaries in Ham front by an explosive device, killing and injuring all its crew.
