Mohammed al-Houthi declares moral victory over Saudi-led coalition, its tools

SANAA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council declared that the Yemeni army, Popular Committees and Yemeni tribes are winning “the battle of values”.

“The battle of values is more important and greater than any battle,” al-Houthi said in a tweet on Saturday night.

“Therefore, we address our attention to our army, our committees and the tribes of the Yemeni people, who won this battle and defeated the US-British-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its allies in Yemen.”

Al-Houthi continued to point out that the army and Popular Committees were not involved in the crimes of displacing or deporting citizens, or of looting their property throughout the war.

“They have proven Yemeni morals to the whole world,” al-Houthi proclaimed.

Al-Houthi’s tweet was seen as a condemnation of the coalition forces, the exiled Hadi administration and the so-called Southern Transitional Council for their crimes of looting, displacement and regional deportation of civilians, as well as their arrests and tortures illegal prisons and the assassinations that has exceeded 400 civilians and military personnel killed in southern Yemen..
