UAE forces establish military base in Taiz

TAIZ, April 12 (YPA) – Military sources revealed on Thursday that the UAE occupation forces intended to establish a military base in al-Sena area of Ma’afer district, south-west of Taiz city.

Meanwhile, well-informed sources confirmed that senior military commanders in Taiz province had renounced the legitimacy of resigned president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi based in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The UAE has sought recently to establish the so-called security belt forces in Taiz, which will create more conflicts in the province, after impose its control over all the southern provinces.

According to the sources, the UAE forces have managed to reduce the presence of Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) militias in the southern port city of Aden and Dalea province, forcing them to head towards Taiz.

The UAE seeks to establish a military base in the strategic district of Ma’afer near to the western coast districts of Mocha and Bab al-Mandab, after it established more than five military bases in Socotra Island, the Gulf of Aden, Anad area of Lahj province, and Hadramout province.

This expansion in the western and southern coasts of Yemen aimed to achieve the Zionist project through controlling the Arab region and the international trade across the strait of Bab al-Mandab in the Red Sea.
