Defence Minister visits sites of Yemeni army in axis of Najran

SANAA, June 7 (YPA) – Yemen’s Defence Minister Major General Mohammad Nasser al-Atafi on Friday has visited sites of the army forces in Najran front.

During his visit, he praised the great triumphs of the Yemeni army against the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries.

The minister delivered his speech before the army and fighters in the province, conveying his greetings and the congratulations of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, as well as of the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

“We are proud to have been in the military sites with our army and fighters defending homeland and its sovereignty from the foreign aggression,” al-Atafi said.

He pointed out that the heroic epics and the qualitative victories achieved by the army and the popular committees in the axis of Najran which will go down in the history for generations to come.

Al-Atafi drew attention to the size of the conspiracy and the unjust war waged by the forces of evil and aggression against the Yemeni people.

The defense Minister reiterated that victory will be for the Yemeni people as the forces of conquest and occupation are incurring successive defeats.
