Three UAE-backed militias wounded in IED blast in Abayn

ABYAN, June 7 (YPA) – At least three militants belonging to the security belt forces funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces were seriously wounded on Friday by an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Abyan province, South Yemen, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, The IED targeted a military pickup belonging to the so-called security belt forces in Mahfad city.

The wounded were taken directly to Ataq Hospital for treatment in Shabwah province, one of the sources said.
Abyan province and other southern provinces under the control of the UAE occupation forces have been witnessing chaos and insecurity amidst the increase in armed terrorist groups, including al-Qaeda and Daesh.
