Israeli forces arrest 17 Palestinians, including 2 children in West Bank

SANAA, May 2 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday renewed their aggressive practices against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Palestinian media reported

According to the Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces raided various areas of the West Bank and arrested 17 citizens.

The occupation soldiers stormed the homes of the citizens and began to search and damage properties of the houses before the arrests, “Palestine Now News Agency reported.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested two youths from Ramallah and arrested a boy from the town of Hazm, east of occupied Jerusalem.

In the city of Nablus, the Israeli forces arrested two children and a freed prisoner from their homes, in addition to arresting a young man from Jenin refugee camp.

Clashes reportedly have erupted in the city of Ramallah between the youths and the Israeli occupation forces before the seizure of the car of captive Mu’tasim Barghouti in Kober, north of Ramallah.

The occupation forces further stormed the homes of citizens in the town of Tekoa, east of Bethlehem, and distributed warning leaflets.

In the Jenin refugee camp, clashes reportedly have erupted as well as confrontations in Qalqilya and Sa’ir east of Hebron.
