Security officer assassinated in Taiz

TAIZ, April 19  (YPA) – Unknown gunmen assassinated on Friday a security official in the police of Taiz province loyal to the coalition.

The correspondent of Yemen Press Agency in Taiz said that the so-called security and order officer in the Taiz police, Captain Mahmoud al-Hamidi, was killed by unknown gunmen in Jamhuri neighborhood.

The correspondent explained that the assassination of Captain al-Humaidi, following an armed ambush by unidentified gunmen in as he returned from the implementation of a security mission.
