Activists hold conference in support of Yemen in Italy

SANAA, April 8 (YPA) –  A group of activists for Yemen have organized a conference in the northern Italian city of Albenga on Saturday.

During the conference, the participants discussed the war that is being waged by the Saudi-led aggression coalition, with US and UK support.

Participants confirmed that the war is not a “civil war”, as the coalition is. promoting it in its media outlets, but it is an aggressive war imposed on the Yemenis.

Filippo Bovo, a writer of a book on Yemeni history, spoke on the conference, as well Paolo Marcenaro, who explained how the Saudi coalition carries out its attacks on civilians, using double tap strikes.

The conference unequivocally condemned the coalition’s crimes and the international hypocrisy towards the ongoing blockade of Yemen.

They called on the United Nations to shoulder its responsibility towards Yemen and to put a stop to the Saudi-led aggression.
