Yemeni riyal continues to improve against foreign currencies

SANAA, Feb. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal on Thursday recorded a significant improvement for the third day in a row against foreign exchange rates in local exchange markets.

Yemeni economic observers expected the recovery of the Yemeni riyal after more than a month of its decline against foreign currencies following scandals of the corruption lobby leaders in Saudi-backed government of the exiled Hadi, head of the so-called” the economic committee Hafidh Mayad and governor of the central bank in Aden Zamam.

Banking sources told Yemen Press Agency that the exchange rate of dollar in the capital Sanaa decreased to 540 Yemeni riyals.
