Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Jawf

JAWF, Feb. 12(YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday repelled an attack carried out by militants loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen’s Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Asdor area of Khub Washaef district left dozens of the militants dead and wounded, the official said.

According to the official, the attack lasted for several hours but without making any progress on the ground despite the intensive participation of coalition warplanes and Apache to back its militants during their foiled attack.
