US Senator: There is a U.S. imprint on every civilian death in Yemen

SANAA, Feb. 3 (YPA) – In a new attempt, a group of  U.S. lawmakers are seeking to pass a resolution ending U.S. support for the Saudi-led Arab alliance in Yemen.

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy is planning with a number of senators to present the legislation at a press conference.

“There is a U.S.  imprint on every civilian death in Yemen,” Murphy said on his  Twitter account, which was monitored and translated by the Yemen Press Agency.

“It’s time for Congress to pass my War Powers Resolution with Senators Barine Sanders, MikeLee, Ro Khanna and Jayapal to end our involvement in this nightmare.

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy is trying to pass the draft resolution that will end U.S. military support for the Arab-led coalition on Yemen.

The draft resolution aims to end the U.S. involvement in creating the worst humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.
