Tribal gunmen encircle Jadaan camp, cut road connecting Marib, Jawf

MARIB, Nov. 27 (YPA) – Dozens of gunmen from Jadaan tribe in Marib province gathered because a tribal child was raped by a coalition soldier.

The tribal gunmen demanded the leadership of the coalition forces of aggression to hand over the accused of raping the child, and gave them a deadline to Tuesday morning.

Informed sources to the issue said that the gunmen of the tribe cut off the main roads leading to the city of Marib, and worked to encircle the coalition camp in the region.

Tribal gunmen threatened to break into the Jadaan camp if the deadline for handing over the perpetrator expired.

The source said that the leadership of the coalition gunmen in Marib refuses to hand over the accused, amid military preparations to confront the tribes of Jadaan.

The Jadaan tribes have established many points along the route connecting the provinces of Marib and Al-Jawf.
