Hadramout residents protest against Saudi-Emirati coalition policies

HADRAMOUT, Nov. 3 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens in Sayoun city of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Saturday staged a popular protest against policies of Saudi and Emirati-led coalition in the southern provinces.

In the demonstration, organized by the “Southern Movement”, the participants raised banners condemning the policy of looting the southern provinces’ wealth by the “Saudi-Emirati occupation”.

“No coalition after the day, our leader is Hassan Ba’um,” the protesters chanted during the demonstration.

The participants warned of the danger of the continuing UAE occupation and its attempt to split the society and threaten security and social peace through forming political and military arms that serve its agenda in the area.

In last month, armed elements of the so-called Southern Transitional Council backed by the UAE assaulted a similar demonstration of the southern movement and burned photos of its leader, Hassan Ba’um.
