Unknown gunman attacks US embassy in Turkey

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen on car fired shots the US embassy in Turkey, crashing embassy’s windows without causing any human injuries, Routers news Agency quoted Turkish media on Monday.

The shooting occurred at about 5 a.m. local time, it said, adding that Turkish authorities on Monday responded to the incident.

The attack on the embassy coincided amid increasing tensions between Ankara and Washington over the detained American pastor, Reuters said.
