Yemen army clears several areas in western coast

WESTERN COAST, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday night cleared several areas in Yemen’s western coast, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Units of the Yemeni army launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militias in the east of Jabalyah district, liberating several areas, the official said.

Dozens of the militias were killed and injured in the attacks, the official confirmed.
