Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemns coalition crime in Saada

TEHRAN, Aug. 9 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned on Thursday evening the attack carried out by the Saudi-led coalition aircraft against children bus in Dhahyan district of Saada province.

“The escalation of shelling on residential areas and civilian targets is indicative of the coalition forces’ successive defeats on the fronts,” the ministry said in a statement.

It called for the international forums and human rights organizations to prevent the continuation of these crimes by the coalition states against Yemen.

In the statement, the ministry expressed regret for the continued arms support to Saudi Arabia and the UAE by some countries that claim to protect human rights.

Earlier the day, the coalition fighter jets launched several airstrikes, targeting a bus of students in central of popular market in Dhahyan district, killing 47 civilians, mostly children, and wounding 77 others, according to medical sources.
